Cracked-Out Cat Terrorizes Family

An extremely distressed cat is behind bars after it attacked a baby and held his family hostage in a bedroom, forcing them to call 911 for help.

According to reports from Oregon, the merciless feline named Lux “went over the edge” Sunday evening after it was punished for scratching a 7-month-old baby. When the upset kitty began charging at his owners, the family and their scared dog hid in a bedroom, where they called 911.

“He’s got kind of a history of violence,” the caller said, adding that the cat continued to charge whenever they tried to open the door.

When the officers arrived at the scene, the rotund cat “attempted to flee custody” by darting into the kitchen. Police used a dog snare to trap Lux in a crate.

Portland police also said, “The cat remained behind bars in the custody of the family, and officers cleared the scene and continued to fight crime elsewhere in the city.”

"Officers cleared the scene and continued to fight crime elsewhere in the city.”

Wish I could have been the one to deliver that line.

I'm laughing at this silly story with everyone else but aggressive kitties are no joke really. I've known a couple that would attack people without being provoked and I tended to stay away from their owners' homes and definitely would not bring my kids around there. Now, I can't say that I was ever enough of a scaredy cat to call 911 about them . . .

Oh, little moth, your fancy feline fervor is but art in motion. Yet - no fatalities? Death escapes your subjects, and I am awash with disappointment....

No matter; you will help me complete my masterpiece - the quadtych of my genuis. I have the perfect pose all picked out, center stage. You shall serve the spotlight well...
