What Would You Do for a Crate of Beer?

Too bad there’s no beer in jail, boys.
It’s not quite as catchy as “what would you do for a Klondike Bar,” perhaps, but the offer of free beer was apparently too much for nineteen wanted men to pass up. According to the Mirror, the Derbyshire police sent out dozens of letters asking criminals to work with a marketing company, for which they would be awarded a crate of beer. Nineteen of those men showed up.

Said Chief Inspector Graham McLaughlin: “It was very cost-effective.”

No joke. If you ask us, these criminals have already killed off far too many brain cells to be allowed near alcohol.
