Tweaking—or Tweeking—the Snickers

Snickers
That’s not nougat!
Me, I like a good chocolate bar, especially to stave off hunger on a long airplane flight like the one from LA to Japan. I think what got this guy in trouble was that he didn’t pack the four pounds of meth disguised as 45 full-sized Snickers bars in his carry-on, he put it into his checked luggage. According to the Los Angeles Times:

Rogelio Mauricio Harris, 34, was arrested at Los Angeles International Airport on Friday by special agents with U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement Homeland Security Investigations while preparing to board a flight to Japan.

The “candy bars” were individually wrapped and each had been coated with a substance that looked like chocolate. All told, the meth had a street value of $250,000.

Mmmm . . . Snickers satisfies!
