Steven Moffat (Sherlock) for Outstanding Writing for a Miniseries, Movie, or Dramatic Special
So—any blatant oversights? Any ludicrous inclusions?
The nominations for “Justified” are richly deserved, and I won’t complain about the two acting nominations for “The Killing”. But Veena Sud’s writing nomination for this ridiculously plotted series must be some kind of joke.
From what I have seen it was only the pilot specifically, not sure, missed the series, but it is going up against HBO’s Game of Thrones, so there may be some vindaction for you…
That is to say, her writing in The Killing doesn’t appeal to you. I doubt that the people who nominated her intended it as a joke.
Most deserving of all of them: Margo Martindale. She gave great dimension to an already-well-written character. She stole every scene she was in and very nearly stole the entire season.
