According to MediaBistro, among the top Android book apps this week are both the Hacker’s Handbook (at #8) and U.S. Cop (coming in right behind it at #9). We here at CE like conspiracy theories as much as the next guy, but you do have to wonder about the mentality of a culture that pulls these two apps into the top ten. (It’s worth noting that all ten are reference works, whether religious, natural, sexual or linguistic. Apparently, Android people like to use their phones to find things out.)
We can’t endorse the hacking one, obviously, except for the “protect yourself” aspect, but we admit to being a bit fascinated by the U.S. Cop app. The behind the scenes info is better than an episode of Law and Order!
