“The Mitford Martini”
Ingredients:
– 2 oz. gin (less dry the better)
– 1/2 oz. dry vermouth
– 1/2 oz. elderflower liqueur
– lemon peel (garnish)
How to make the cocktail:
- Pour all ingredients (not the lemon peel) into a mixing tin with ice.
- Stir until chilled.
- Strain into a chilled coupe glass.
- Cut a peel of lemon (careful to avoid the pith).
- Squeeze the oils over the drink, rub the peel around the rim, and drop the peel into the drink.
