Watching Blue Tilt Like A Hawk (Ethan Hawke, That Is)

Now this is one cop drama that could be really interesting. NBC recently announced that the new series Blue Tilt would begin filming at the end of this year and that it would star both Vincent D’Onofrio and Ethan Hawke. Hawke hasn’t done much television in the past, and one wonders whether he’ll manage to stick it out. 

The name refers to homicide detectives who, due to the repeated horrors of their jobs, are considered “on the edge” and forced by the department to see a psychiatrist.  We all know D’Onofrio is good at playing crazy—his Law and Order: Criminal Intent days show us that! With any luck, these two will create a chemistry that brings new depth to cop shows.
