Dognapping seems like it would be mostly a victimless crime right? I mean, yeah, it’s pretty crappy to do to someone. But you grab the dog, take care of it for a couple of days while waiting for the owner to post information about a reward, then return it. No problem right? But what happens when you take the dog of a mob boss?
That is the premise of the new film Seven Psychopaths, directed by Martin McDonagh, who also directed In Bruges, another hilarious dark comedy about hitmen. Seven Psychopaths stars Colin Farrell, Christopher Walken, Sam Rockwell, and Woody Harrelson. Now, I’m not sure if it will contribute to the discussion of a certain consulting detective’s psychological state, but it looks like it is going to be a pretty funny ride.
