Always wanted to read the books behind the show. Thanks for the giveaway opportunity.

Thank you for sharing about this book series. I love the show and have not read any of the books. Certainly rooting for the greenlight for season three 🙂

    Interesting series

  4. Marybeth Mank

Last night’s season finale literally blew me away!!!! It better be renewed because they just can’t leave us hanging like that. Would love to win the book series because the TV show is seriously cool!

Page refuses to send registration info. Errors repeadly. Oh and so does THIS page as it keeps telling me that my NAME is an ‘alias’ that is ‘in use’! Yes, there may well be more than 1 Michele Powell in the universe. Geez!

  6. Jennifer Balmer

I have so much enjoyed discovering Longmire! So well written, often riveting, at times poignant & gentle. Quite suspensful and a blend of old and new. I would really enjoy the books I am sure. And last night’s closer? Perfect cliffhanger!!! Good story threads to weave into the new season.

  7. PE Sullivan

Love this ruggedly wonderful western; characters are amazing & the tv series will hopefully continue. Thanks for the contest.

  8. Mike Morris

For those of you who haven’t read any of the books… you are in for a wonderful surprise. They are great! Things in the books are very similar to the show, but there are enough differences to keep you happily reading along!

And for those with ereaders… there are 3 or 4 novellas out there (Nook and Kindle etc) that are shorter but are wonderful additions to the Lonmire legacy. And there is a new book “Spirit of Steamboat” being released in September or October (my mind has no real capturing capabilities anymore) that promises to be a welcome addition to the previous books and novellas.

Enjoy, all! I did and will again and again!!

  13. Andrew Kuligowski

I am about 1/2 way through Craig Johnson’s telling of the saga of Walt Longmire, not counting his eBook specials. Looking forward to reading the rest. (Of course, even if I were to win, I’m not ditching my personalized copy of “The Cold Dish”!)
(Yes, I entered via the official mechanism – but I commented anyway!)

    Groovy Longmire!

  16. Vicki Kennedy

I started watching the TV series first and then started on the books, which I’m still working on. At first I had a hard time adjusting to the differences between the show and the books, but now I enjoy both even though the books are still my favorite. I would love to win the whole series so I could finish out my collection and share them with family and friends.
