Christopher Golden, editor of the acclaimed, eclectic anthology The New Dead, returns with 21st Century Dead, and an all new lineup of authors from all corners of the fiction world, shining a dark light on our fascination with tales of death and resurrection. . . with ZOMBIES! The stellar lineup of contributors for this new volume includes: Ken Bruen, Orson Scott Card, Simon R. Green, Daniel H. Wilson, Dan Chaon, Jonathan Maberry, Mark Morris, Duane Swiercyznski and Stephanie Crawford, Caitlin Kittredge, Chelsea Cain, Brian Keene, Amber Benson, S.G. Browne, Thomas E. Sniegoski, Stephen Susco, John Skipp and Cody Goodfellow, Rio Youers, John M. McIlveen and—with his first published prose—Sons of Anarchy creator Kurt Sutter.

This is so cool! Orson Scott Card? Brian Keene? Jonathan Maberry? Kurt Sutter in a zombie book?? Nice!

  2. Cecilia Huddleston

Wow!!! Some really awesome authors listed in this anthology!
Cool authors & zombies…what a great combination…!!! “21st Century Dead” will be on my to-read list!

    Cheers to all!

  3. Thomas Canty

Read the line-up and the promo material, wondering if Kurt Sutter can actually write short fiction or is this just stunt casting meant to hook and reel in the ComicCon crowd? The Shield was nothing special at all, Sons of Anarchy just a cartoon. Disappointing.

There’s no way that he ought to be sharing the stage with Orson Scott Card, John McIlveen, Caitlin KItterage and the like.
