I don’t know about you, but I was promised a great many things growing up. Everything from robot butlers to jet-packs and laser watches, and frankly my friends, I have been seriously let down. I have yet to jet set from coast-to-coast in my flying car. But the good (?) news is that we are finally on the way to Tomorrow.

Fresh on the heels of the Dept. of Homeland security’s pre-crime software comes prisons guarded by robots.  (Go ahead and re-read that a couple of times.) Robots that act as prison guards. Who is the first to try out this new and quite probably horrible idea? Why, South Korea. And I don’t know about you, but I for one would like to welcome our new robot overlords correctional officers as valuable members of society.
