Man Steals Date’s Car to Take Another Date to the Drive-In Theater

Ahhh, that beautiful moment when life imitates art.
A man in Memphis, Tennessee, recently attempted the ol’ Two-Timer Date trope popular in sitcoms and romantic comedies. According to nbcmiami.com, while on a date with one woman, Kelton Griffin stole her car to drive to another date with another woman. After stopping at a gas station, Griffin asked his date to run inside and grab him some cigars, then drove off in her Volvo to pick up another woman and take her to a drive-in movie theater.
Police were able to track down Griffin to the drive-in where they arrested him and charged him with theft of property.
