Chloe Moretz got her start as the girl-next-door who could easily kick some serious butt in the 2010 action comedy, Kick-Ass. At the same time, she played the spooky little vampire girl in Let Me In. Now she’s taking on the ultimate kick-ass chick in the remake of the horror film, Carrie.

Tuesday morning, Moretz announced via Twitter that she was in negotiations with MGM to don the iconic pigs-blood as Carrie, a role made famous by Sissy Spacek in 1976. We think Moretz looks scarily like Spacek and can totally imagine her in the title role. Do you think she can carry the role of the famous blood-covered telepath?

If Carrie had been a telepath, she might not have had to kill so many people (with her telekinetic powers). So far I’ve liked Moretz in pretty much everything I’ve seen her in. Not sure Carrie actually needs a remake, though.
