Flypaper stars Patrick Dempsey, Ashley Judd, the dazzling Timothy Blake Nelson, Jeffrey Tambor, Pruitt Taylor Vince, and Mekhi Phifer among others. Dempsey plays a man caught between competing teams of bank robbers—one high-tech, precision crew versus hillbillies with internet explosives—while trying to protect the teller he secretly loves.
Venkman at GeekTyrant, who saw it at the Sundance Film Festival in January, says its release date is now July 15th (haven’t seen confirmation, but Netherlands opening is August 4th—woo hoo!) and that it’s “very freakin’ funny…Dempsey is awesome in this film, it’s definitely the best thing he’s done.”
