Way back when, women relied on facial tissues or toilet paper to pad their bras. Recently, a 62-year-old woman, arriving at Düsseldorf International Airport from the Caribbean island of Curacao had a different idea. She filled the pads in her push-up bra with cocaine.
“It was strange that the contours in her chest area kept changing,” a spokeswoman for the German Customs Authority told Spiegel Online. “The padding appeared to have come out of her bra and had taken on a life of its own under her clothing.”
Customs officials had an idea that there would be drug couriers on the flight since they’d caught others on previous flights from Curacao to Düsseldorf. Clearly they had their eyes open to any possibility this time around.
