New Line Cinema has released the trailer for Going in Style, and with such a stellar cast, let’s hope the title of the film doesn’t double as a sort of two-week’s notice for Oscar winners Morgan Freeman (Million Dollar Baby), Michael Caine (The Cider House Rules, Hannah and Her Sisters), and Alan Arkin (Little Miss Sunshine).
The film follows the three life-long buddies as they decide that the dull life of retirement isn’t quite for them—especially after their pension is frozen. So, they do what anyone would do in that situation … they decide to rob a bank.
Directed by Zach Braff (Garden State) from a screenplay by Theodore Melfi (St. Vincent), Going in Style also stars two-time Oscar nominee Ann-Margret (Tommy, Carnal Knowledge), Joey King (Wish I Was Here), Matt Dillon (Crash), Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), John Ortiz (Silver Linings Playbook), and Peter Serafinowicz (Guardians of the Galaxy).
Going in Style is scheduled to be released on April 7, 2017.
