H.H. Holmes “Murder Castle” Jigsaw Puzzle

In 1886, H.H. Holmes constructed what would become his “Murder Castle” in Chicago, just prior to the World’s Fair. This block-long hotel featured doors leading to brick walls, stairs that led to nowhere, secret vaults and gas chambers, and a basement full of torture and body disposal equipment. If you've read Erik Larson's Devil in the White City, you know just how sadistic Holmes was.

Now, thanks to DrawnByHolly, you can construct the same “Murder Castle” at home…in the form of a 513-piece jigsaw puzzle. Included with the puzzle is an illustration based on blueprints of the actual Murder Castle, accurately portraying what the hotel looked like and how Holmes used it to aid him in murdering his victims, then articulating their skeletons for sale to local universities. Get the puzzle and the print for a mere $30!

*Actual Murder Castle not included.

Yeah, I found this perusing Jack the Ripper items on Etsy and couldn’t resist! Definitely the most interesting jigsaw puzzle I’ve come across.
