Pranksters Block Road with Life-Size Triceratops

Triceratops in the road!

Here in New York City we see a lot of unsettling creatures in the streets — think rats, mice and cockroaches. But what would you do if you saw a 20-foot dinosaur in the middle of the street at 3AM?! Welp, that is exactly what happened to a  motorist when a few pranksters in London decided to steal a life-size model triceratops and move it onto a main road.

Godshilla, the model dino, is owned by Martin Simpson of local gem shop called Island Gems, who told the Isle of Wight County Press that it must have taken “five hefty lads” to move the beast into the street. He reportedly bought the dino back in 2007 to help promote his shop.

Thankfully Godshilla is now safe and back home where he belongs. Simpson says he'll soon put up a fence around the triceratops to protect him a bit better.

Local police have no leads on the five hefty lads who might have done this.

I know this is old news, but in what way is an Island 100 miles away from London, in London?
