Duper’s Delight: Unrestrained Glee at Getting Away With It

Remember this disturbing grin? Professional liespotter Pamela Meyer calls it “Duper's Delight,” the thrill a liar may not be able to contain at getting away with it. From her TED talk, here's a clip with many more tells for lies, based upon the accumulating science, using examples from crime, but many from politics, too, which is a bit like shooting fish in a barrel. She shows another example of glee at duping—and it's chilling. Meyer estimates we're lied to 10-200 times a day. Watch this and you won't even trust yourself!
