Serial Tickler Strikes Terror in College Dorm Rooms

A serial tickler (yes, a serial tickler) apparently has been very busy sneaking into the dorms of Boston College students, tickling their sleeping feet, and then running away into the night.  Thus far at least ten victims have come forward to alert authorities that a man broke into their dorms to commit horrifying acts of tickling.

“This is no myth,” Police Sergeant Michael O’Hara said. “It’s happening.”

These tickling run-ins have been going on for a while now. The Tickler, as dubbed by the victims, is described as a  5-foot-8-inch black man adorning with a dark hoodie. Some victims even stated that they witnessed the Tickler peering through their windows “committed a sex act”.

One of the Boston College student recounts his tell when he heard the Tickler running down the stairs earlier in October.

“I thought my roommate had fallen down the steps, but then he started yelling. I got up and he said that he had woken up to someone touching his feet.”

“The guy didn’t take anything and there were laptops and wallets out in the main room.”

Nothing had been stolen. Thus is the way of the Tickler.

Another student reports waking up to the Tickler at their feet.

“Someone was standing at the end of the bed, and by the time I realized there was someone really there, he was booking it right out my door.”

Even though the neighborhood is considered a pretty safe area, Sergeant O’Hara encourages students to lock their doors.

“You don’t know what this guy is going to do or if he has a weapon. You need to lock your doors. It’s not as safe as you think.”
