Perfect Shades for Deadly Beach Reads

We’ve just enjoyed the first day of summer, so naturally, our thoughts to turn to that special brand of crime story: the deadly beach read. But how to protect one’s tender orbs from solar overexposure while relaxing with that new thriller or mystery? That’s where these sunglasses come in. UV 400 protection with just the right attitude to dissuade people from stealing your cabana chairs.

How could there possibly be any shades that compare in lethal awesomeness?!

Well, these might be a close second.

I vote for the Barbara Stanwyck shades. Far deadlier.

It’s the eyeballs behind the shades that are far scarier, and for that I vote Stanwyck, too.

Oooooohhh! The coolest grandmother ever (that would be me) is off to maximum eyewear to buy a pair of skeleton glasses–unless they have something that will make the kids go, “Ew, Grandma” even more. I’ll let you know.

Got ’em. AND they are on sale for $9.99. The novelty section at Maximum Eyewear has lots of glasses the kids would love to see me model. I’m sure I’ll be back. I kind of have a yen for the rainbow peace glasses.
