This hard-hitting question led Willie Edward Drake, 43, to favor three hots and a cot over the infamous awful waffle.
According to WSB-TV Atlanta, Drake entered a Waffle House off I-75 near Macon, Georgia, early one Tuesday and sat down to order. Understandably, he wanted his food smothered and covered in BBQ sauce. However, an employee peppered in the bad news that Waffle House had diced the savory sauce, which capped a rough time for Drake and topped even his worst fears. He then chunked some obscenities at the employee, saying, “I’ll go to (expletive) jail over some barbecue sauce!” And in this country, you can be sure he got his wish. Police took him all the way to jail and charged him with disorderly conduct. To make matters worse, Sheriff David Davis confirmed that the jail doesn’t have BBQ sauce either.
