How I would love to be able to go to the bistro, get a seat by the fire, order my coffee in a bowl and greet my Three Pine friends, including the old lady with the duck. If I were lucky enough to see her, I would give her a loving kiss and hug, even if she spit on me (and, lord knows, she might). I agree with Nancy Hatch: How about a story about Ruth?
I discovered Inspector Gamache when my husband and I took our granddaughter to Quebec for her thirteenth birthday. I have been hooked ever since.
