I Call Shenanigans! Voter Undead.

Welcome to the voting coffin!
Chicago is famous for having the dead vote. Texas, it appears, prefers to go the other direction.

Our story this week comes to us from the good folks over at Lowering the Bar, who titled it “We’re Not Dead,” Say Texas Voters Informed They Were Dead, which pretty much says it all.

According to Businessweek, a Texas judge has granted an injunction at least temporarily halting officials’ plans to purge 77,000 “presumably dead voters” from the rolls, finding (this is my interpretation, anyway) that the four plaintiffs had successfully rebutted that presumption by being alive.

Nothing like being alive to just completely ruin someone’s day, right?
