Mark Harmon is back. Everyone loves the tough-as-nails silver fox who plays Jethro Gibbs on CBS’s NCIS. Can you believe the show just entered its 10th season? Well, actually it’s not so surprising with a great cast headed by Harmon and a story line that manages to make you laugh and still keeps you on the edge of your seat.
For those of us Harmonizers who were craving more Mark Harmon (and who isn’t?) there was his movie Certain Prey to consider. It aired in November 2011 on USA and Harmon was perfect as John Sandford’s Lucas Davenport. Now the movie is available on DVD, and since we at Criminal Element are such hardcore Harmon fans, we got copies to give away!
Last season’s finale left the entire team at NCIS with uncertain fates. Abby was caught in a bombing, Ziva and Tony (otherwise known as Tiva) were stuck in an elevator, Ducky had just suffered a heart attack and Gibbs was after Harper Dearing, season 9’s resident baddie and grieving father-cum-terrorist.
As Gibbs pursued Dearing, you could practically cut through his tension, anxiety, and fear for his team. I imagined hearing “Nobody puts Baby in the corner” throughout the entire premiere of season 10.
It’ll be interesting to see how season 10 proceeds as Abby was decidedly un-Abby-like after the bombing and Ducky will be recovering from his heart attack. What did you think of the season 10 premiere? Will you watch Mark Harmon in Certain Prey?
