Well, both have been greenlit. The first, directed by Total Recall and Underworld director Len Wiseman for Fox, the second for the CW. If you add in ABC’s Once Upon a Time and NBC’s Grimm, that leaves only CBS without a spooky entry in the lineup. (Unless you consider Lucy Liu as Joan Watson spooky, in which case Elementary qualifies.)
